Milestone Pageants: Privacy Policy, Rules & Regulations
1. Registration and Eligibility Criteria
1.1. Application and Consent
By submitting an application to participate in Milestone Pageants, / Jaansons Entertainment Private Limited all applicants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Rules and Regulations, as amended from time to time at the sole discretion of the organizers. Registration implies unconditional acceptance of all terms.
1.2. Age and Marital Status Criteria
Eligible applicants must fall within the following categories:
- Miss Category: Females aged 18 to 30 years, unmarried.
- Mrs. Category: Married, divorced, separated, or widowed females aged 21 years and above.
1.3. Nationality and Documentation
Applicants must be in possession of a valid Passport or recognized National ID proof (e.g., Aadhar card, Voter ID, Driver’s License) confirming their nationality and identity.
1.4. Selection Process
Selection will be based on one or more of the following:
- Telephonic/Video Interview
- Photograph or Video Submission
- Recommendation or Referral by a designated Milestone Pageants Director
All decisions regarding selection will be final and binding. No appeals or challenges shall be entertained.
1.5. Mandatory Documentation
All applicants must, upon request, furnish valid proof of age and identity, which may include any one :
- Passport /Driving License/Birth Certificate/Government-issued ID
Failure to provide requested documents may result in immediate disqualification.
1.6. Binding Agreement
By registering, the applicant agrees to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions issued by organization and acknowledges that the organizers reserve the right to modify, amend, or update the terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Grounds for Disqualification
2.1. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information at any stage of the application, selection, or competition process will result in immediate disqualification, with or without notice.
2.2. Disqualification may occur before, during, or after the competition, if any violation of these terms is discovered.
2.3. The decision of Organization with regard to eligibility, selection, disqualification, and interpretation of rules shall be final, binding, and non-negotiable.
3. Event Participation Terms
3.1. Code of Conduct
All participants must strictly refrain from smoking, consuming alcoholic beverages, or using any form of drugs or illegal substances during official Pageants activities, events, and rehearsals. Any breach of this clause will result in immediate disqualification.
3.2. Discipline and Commitment
Participants are expected to attend and actively participate in all scheduled events, rehearsals, and activities in a disciplined, punctual, and respectful manner as per the schedule issued by the organizers.
3.3. Third-Party Responsibilities
Organization shall not be held liable or accountable if event sponsors fail to fulfill their prize commitments or obligations. The organization only facilitates the platform and has no control over sponsor actions.
3.4. Liability Waiver
Organization, its directors, staff, agents, or associates shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, illness, or personal injury sustained by a contestant during or in connection with their participation in the event.
3.5. Event Schedule & Venue Changes
The event schedule, venue, format, or qualifying rounds may be changed, postponed, or rescheduled at the sole discretion of the organizers. No claims shall be entertained in such cases.
3.6. Force Majeure and Event Cancellation
In the event of cancellation or non-occurrence of the pageant due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to governmental restrictions, natural disasters, or international conflicts, the organizers shall not be held liable. Efforts will be made to reschedule or transfer the event to an alternative location or date.
3.7. Final Authority
All disputes, grievances, or issues arising out of the event shall be subject to the sole and final discretion of the Milestone Pageants management. Their decision shall be final, conclusive, and binding on all parties.
4. Disqualification
4.1. Organization reserves the absolute right to disqualify any participant at any stage, without obligation for refund or compensation, if the participant:
- Displays inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to abuse, misconduct, threats, or disrespect towards other participants, sponsors, staff, or judges;
- Fails to comply with the rules, instructions, or event code of conduct;
- Engages in activities that bring disrepute to the brand or its affiliates.
- 4.2. In the event a winner is found violating any of the event rules, policies, or post-crowning obligations, she will be required to surrender her title, crown, and prizes and shall also be liable to pay compensation and penalties as determined by the organization.
5. Fees and Refund Policy
5.1. All payments made towards registration, grooming, training, or any other associated fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Non-participation by the candidate
- 5.2. If the event cannot be held in the originally scheduled country or on the original date due to denied permissions, government restrictions, or force majeure, the event will be transferred to an alternate country or date, and all contestant obligations will remain in force. No refunds shall be granted in such cases.
5.3. Fees covered under this non-refundable policy include, but are not limited to:
- Entry fees/Grooming and training fees/Sponsorship fees/Advertising and promotional fees
Program book advertisements/Admission ticket sales/Guest meal charges
Crown and sash fees/Special award charges/Any other payments made by contestants, sponsors, family members, or advertisers
Rejection of visa/Medical or personal issues/Inability to attend the event for any reason whatsoever
Contestant Agreement & Titleholder Obligations
- Exclusive Management Rights
Contestants acknowledge and agree that if selected as a winner, their professional affairs—including but not limited to endorsements, media appearances, promotional activities, and public engagements—will be under the exclusive management of Milestone Pageants/ Jaansons Entertainment Private Limited or its licensed representatives for a period of one (1) year from the date of crowning. The titleholder shall not participate in any commercial activity or issue any written or verbal endorsements without the prior written consent of Milestone Pageants.
- Rights to Appearances and Opportunities
Contestants further agree that all rights to opportunities arising from their participation—whether as winners or finalists—at any regional, state, national, or international level associated with Orgnization, including but not limited to endorsements, speaking engagements, acting roles, public appearances, or media features, shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Milestone Pageants.
- Titleholder Loyalty and Exclusivity
All Titleholders and Subtitle Holders must remain loyal and committed to their title and the Milestone Pageants/ Jaansons Entertainment Private Limited brand throughout their reign. They agree to dedicate their time, energy, and public representation solely to Orgnization and shall not participate in any other pageant, competition, or conflicting event during their term.
- Participation in Other Events & Title Forfeiture
If a titleholder wishes to participate in another event or pageant before the completion of their official reign (1 year), they must first surrender their crown, sash, and all awarded prizes to the organization. as actual condition given on stage
Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification, and the organization reserves the right to revoke the title, reclaim the crown and all awarded prizes.
If a titleholder voluntarily surrenders her crown before term completion, she must compensate the organization with a penalty fee of INR 10,00,000 (Ten Lakh Rupees) or USD 12,000.
- Conduct and Representation
All contestants and reigning titleholders must uphold the dignity and integrity of the Organization brand. Under no circumstances shall they pose or participate in any form of nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content in photography, video, or film, either before or during their reign.
- 6. Legal Jurisdiction
- 6.1. All legal matters, disputes, or claims arising out of or in connection with participation in Milestone Pageants/Jaansons Entertainment Private Limited shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
- 6.2. By applying to and participating in the pageant, the applicant expressly agrees that any legal proceeding shall be filed and adjudicated solely in the appropriate court of law in Lucknow, and no other jurisdiction shall be applicable.
